The creative competition that was initiated at the end of September by Lode and Hendrik Essers, the managers of Pami, is now over. And the lucky winner of the €20,000 ‘Office Make-over’ that was picked by the jury out of all the different enthusiastic applicants is Pelens Yvo bvba of Hechtel. The dream of transforming their ageing offices into a brand new workplace and drawing up a list of requirements for the interior design is about to come true… It will be possible to admire photos of the results of this metamorphosis on the Pami website very shortly!

Companies that tried their hand at winning this fabulous prize had to place a photo of their work environment on the Pami campaign website. They also had to answer an original elimination question. The person who came closest to guessing how quickly the Essers brothers would be able to assemble a Pami office walked off with the much coveted makeover. 

In setting up this remarkable competition, the aim of the brothers was not just to create an entertaining showcase for Pami products, but also to emphasise their personal involvement. They both literally and figuratively pushed up their sleeves to assemble the office creating a very practical image of their company. In so doing they made a strong statement about valorising the skills of specialist craftsmen.  Mangers are constantly busy in meetings and doing paperwork, but in order to ensure that a company’s production processes and client services continue to operate efficiently, technical expertise is also equally indispensable.
