New collaboration with sheltered workshop Bewel

As part of a major recruitment campaign, Pami attracted five new talented employees through a partnership with sheltered workshop Bewel. Bewel is a renowned organisation committed to employing people distanced from the labour market. Pami and Bewel share the belief that anyone who is committed can add value to our society, our economy, and themselves.

“To successfully integrate our new employees, we drew up a comprehensive familiarisation and coaching programme together with Bewel. In an initial phase, the new employees will be extensively introduced to Pami’s business processes, where they will be supervised by experienced team members. This is how we will help them become familiar with the specific tasks and responsibilities associated with their jobs, and enable them to contribute quickly and effectively to our production activities. We are determined to give them every opportunity to grow and already notice that they have the required passion and dedication to meet our high quality standards,” says Dave Stevens, Operations Manager (pictured left).

As a socially committed company, Pami strives to maximise its sustainable and positive impact. Economically, socially, and environmentally. Pami believes in the importance of local employment and actively invests in strengthening the community in which it operates. By working with Bewel, Pami contributes to creating equal opportunities and promoting inclusiveness in the labour market.

“This collaboration illustrates Pami’s commitment to social responsibility and building a diverse and inclusive work environment. Pami sees it as an opportunity to recognise and utilise the talents and abilities of people distanced from the labour market. By offering them an opportunity to work and grow in a supportive environment, Pami not only strengthens local employment, but also the well-being and self-development of these individuals,” clarifies Kimberley Maes, HR Manager.

“Bewel’s mission is to employ and develop people distanced from the labour market. We like to do this through enclave work in-house with the client because this form of employment really contributes to integration. That Bewel can start working at Pami with four sheltered workers and one supervisor is good for the employment of people distanced from the labour market in North Limburg,” concludes Johan Bongaerts, Bewel’s General Manager.

Pami and Bewel hope this initiative will also encourage other companies and organisations to actively contribute to inclusive employment initiatives. By working together to create a society where everyone has equal opportunities, we can bring about positive change and create a better future for all of us.
