Contact with the citizens.
At the end of May 2016, the City of Izegem officially opened its renovated town hall. When developing the concept, Pami took into account three major requirements: maintaining and enhancing the contact with citizens, modernising and simplifying the working methods (internal as well as in their contact with citizens), and a major focus on flexibility of spaces and the reuse of furniture.
Pami was happy to accept this creative challenge and developed a coherent, logical, and flexible interior concept in close cooperation with all parties involved. Three floors were renovated, which resulted in a completely new central entrance; a reception and waiting room where children are very welcome; desks for registry matters finished with glass doors, which emphasise the feeling of openness and transparency; the back office, which takes into account the needs and wishes of employees; and meeting rooms which meet all acoustic and technical requirements.
